Wrestlemania 27

WrestleMania 27 is over and in the books.  The WrestleMania experience has grown to become a week-long celebration of sports entertainment fandom and includes WWE fan Axxess, The Hall of Fame Ceremony, WrestleMania itself, Monday Night RAW, and several additional events around the community where the event is held.  This year, fans traveled to Atlanta, GA from 30 countries and all 50 states to witness the culmination of a year’s worth of buildup and the beginnings of the next.

Up-and-comers like Cody Rhodes proved they are the future of the company.

 

The veterans, Triple H and the Undertaker, stole the show and showed what storytelling is all about.

The Miz solidified his place in the company as a main event star.

The Rock gave the fans what they wanted so badly, returning to Wrestlemania and electrifying like only he can.

WrestleMania has been called many things including “The Big One”, “The Grandaddy of Them All”, “The Showcase of the Immortals”, and “A Renewal of the Spirit”.  A “Renewal of the Spirit” is what resonates most with me.  I’m a man of many pop-culture/entertainment passions but sports entertainment is by far at the top of the list.  There’s nothing like being fully immersed in your passion with over 70,000 fellow fans.  Attending the Hall of Fame ceremony and being able to pay tribute to my childhood heroes, some who are no longer with us, is an unparalleled experience.  WrestleMania 27 was the 11^th time I’ve attended the event live and I’ll be there next year on Sunday April 1, 2012 for Wrestlemania 28 as The Rock returns to the ring to face John Cena.  It’s something I plan on doing as long as I can as it truly does renew my spirit.  Find what renews yours.

With  a return to wrestling, The Rock is back just in time for Wrestlemania 27 . The main event is The Miz vs. John Cena, but we'll have to wait and see how the The Rock will come into the picture!

The NEW Muppet Movie

The new Muppet movie is on schedule for a November 23 release. It has been rumored that there is a tentative title of The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made or The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made, but no official title has been released yet.  I'm really looking forward to the new film and below is one of the latest images from the shoot that was released to Entertainment Weekly in November 2010.

I'm really looking for ward to the new X-Men movie, X-Men: First Class.  This is movie is taking a fresh look at an aging franchise and giving it some new excitement.

Hi, I'm Steve and welcome to my entertaining world!

I have many interests, but my ultimate passion is with wrestling, Muppets, super heroes and movies. I'm going to use this platform to share with you, my readers, some of my favorite things in the world of wrestling and beyond. I am eager to show a different side of wrestling/WWE/TNA that you might not normally see from television. There is a vast array of methods that companies such as WWE and TNA use to get their consumers interested.

I also want to share some of the latest videos that the Muppets have been creating in the past year. With How I Met Your Mother star, Jason Segal, at the helm of  a new Muppet movies, there is a renewed interest and resurgence for the lovable characters.  Lastly, super heroes are everywhere these days, but have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I'll share some of the latest trailers that you may have already seen or maybe missed.

I will also share not so typical insights, such as different ways to display a collection that you may have stored in a box, different websites and blogs that help me get the latest information for my passions and various non-traditional marketing methods that big companies use to influence consumers.
